Polygraphic Productions is a collaboration between New York filmmakers Tyler Byrnes and Dorian Carli-Jones that produces a variety of film and video content ranging from web series to short films to music videos and more.

Tyler Byrnes
Director, Cinematographer, Writer, Editor Tyler moved from rural upstate New York to attend Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College, achieving a BA in Film Production. However, his small town roots remained in the films he made after moving to New York City, with intimate and heartfelt character pieces culminating in returning to his childhood home to shoot the Polygraphic short film Adolescents, which will screen in competition at the Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival 2015 (TBUFF) this December. His previous short films have screened at the CUNY University Film Festival 2014 (CUFF) and the Austin Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival 2014 (aGLIFF). tylerbyrnesfilm.com |
Dorian Carli-Jones
Director, Producer, Art Director, Stop-Motion Animator Dorian has been making movies ever since he was a little kid. After receiving his BFA in Film & TV Production from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Dorian began his career working both on and off set. From 2012-2014, Dorian worked as Director of Film & Video at the New York theatre company Boxed Wine Productions. It was during this time in which he met Tyler, and the two have been partnering on projects ever since. Outside of Polygraphic, in 2015, Dorian co-produced and directed the documentary China Remix, which chronicles the burgeoning African hip-hop scene in south China. doriancarli-jones.com |
